André R. Chabot is the father of the Three-Pillar Approach. He holds a degree in Engineering, a Master of Business Administration and is a CFA® charterholder.

André has been managing assets for institutional and high net worth clients for over 30 years. From 1980 to 1987,  he worked in the field of corporate finance for the Chase Manhattan Bank and the Bank of Montreal. In 1987, he joined Bolton Tremblay, where he was involved in asset mix studies and equity management. He joined Magna Vista Capital Management as senior partner in 1996. In 1998, he set up a portfolio management team to advise on assets for a mutual fund organization. This team subsequently became Triasima.

Mathieu Tanguay joined Triasima in 2016 as president and senior partner.

Mathieu holds a Master of Science in Finance from HEC Montréal. He also holds the CFA® designation as well as several certifications from the Canadian Securities Institute.

Mathieu has extensive experience in the investment industry. From 2010 to 2016, he was a partner and the market business leader for Mercer’s investment consulting practice in Eastern and Central Canada and was a member of Mercer’s North American Investment Leadership team. As consultants, Mathieu and his team provided strategic consulting to institutional investors on all aspects related to asset management, including governance, strategy design, risk management, implementation, and performance monitoring. Prior to that, Mathieu taught finance at HEC Montréal between 2007 and 2010, and was vice president, Capital Markets at TD Securities from 2003 to 2007. During that time, he also served as president of the Montréal Bond Traders Association.

At Triasima, Mathieu oversees client servicing, business development, operations, and compliance. As a member of Triasima’s management committee, he is also involved in the development and implementation of the firm’s strategic plan.

In Canada, Mathieu is registered as an Advising Representative at Triasima Portfolio Management’s main regulator, the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF).

Scott Collins joined the Triasima investment team in 1998, and took on the additional responsibilities of deputy chief investment officer in 2020. Scott holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Concordia University and is a a CFA® charterholder.

Scott has over 25 years of financial industry experience. His career began as an investment banking analyst at the corporate finance firms Wallace Dewan and Gordon Capital from 1996 to 1998.

At Triasima, Scott participates in the management of various investment strategies. On the research side, he primarily performs fundamental research on small- and mid-cap companies, and is also involved in the quantitative analysis of securities.

In Canada, Scott is registered as an Advising Representative at Triasima Portfolio Management’s main regulator, the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF).

Nathalie Nowlan joined Triasima as an associate, Client Relationships, in 2015, was promoted to vice-president in 2017 and became partner in 2019.

Nathalie holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from l’Université de Moncton (Moncton, NB) and a Master of Sciences in Financial Economics from HEC Montréal. She is also a CFA® charterholder.

Nathalie has over 15 years of financial markets experience. Prior to joining Triasima, she was an investment consultant at Pensul. In that role, she helped foundations, pension plans, and other institutional investors select and monitor investment managers.

At Triasima, Nathalie assumes various roles and strategic functions within the Client Relationships team. She cares for the needs of clients and strives to offer services that exceed their expectations. She is well versed in the firm’s product offering and capabilities which makes her a great ally to provide solutions to clients and prospective clients.

In Canada, Nathalie is registered as an Associate Advising Representative at Triasima Portfolio Management’s main regulator, the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF).

Alexandre Tassé-Larrivée joined Triasima as manager, Client relationships in 2022.

He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Finance from the École des sciences de la gestion de l'UQÀM. His interest in quantitative methods led him to study for the ASA designation. He is also a CFA® charterholder.

Alexandre has over 9 years of experience in the financial markets. He began his career in investment and actuarial consulting. In this role, he assisted foundations, pension plans and other institutional investors in selecting managers and monitoring performance and participated in some actuarial studies. Over the years, he also held a position in risk management at the National Bank and, more recently, in investment finance at PSP Investments.

At Triasima, Alexandre assumes various key roles within the Client relationships team. In addition to providing top quality servicing to our clientele, he contributes to optimizing the client experience with technological improvements.

Yanish Thanacoody joined Triasima as Manager, Client Relationships in 2022.

A CIM (Certified Investment Manager), Yanish also holds a Bachelor of Arts with a major in French and a minor in Business Studies from Concordia University and a Certificate in Applied Finance from McGill University.

Yanish has over 12 years of experience in the financial markets.  He began his career in 2010 at RBC Direct Investing, where he was a Senior Investment Services Representative. Most recently, he was an Associate Advisor at RBC Dominion Securities.

At Triasima, Yanish holds various key roles within the Client Relationships team.

Redouane Khireddine holds postgraduate degrees in Finance from Université du Québec à Montréal and in Banking from IFID. He is also a CFA® charterholder.

Redouane has over 20 years of financial industry experience. In 1999, he joined the investment team of Triasima, at which time he contributed to the final definition of the firm’s investment methodology through analytical research into the quantitative pillar, especially as it pertains to the identification of qualitative and technical factors that can enhance portfolio value.

At Triasima, Redouane participates in the management of various investment strategies and monitors portfolio structures. He is primarily involved in the quantitative and trend analysis of securities.

Edward Antczak joined Triasima in 2012 as portfolio manager. He holds a Master of Business Administration from HEC Montreal and a Master of Economics from the Gdansk University in Poland. Edward is also a CFA® charterholder.

Edward has over 30 years of financial industry experience. His career began in private wealth management in 1986 at the Royal Trust Company. He then joined the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec as a financial analyst. His most recent position was portfolio manager for the Rio Tinto Alcan pension fund.

At Triasima, Edward is involved in managing Triasima’s Canadian equity strategies. He primarily does fundamental research on Canadian large- and mid-cap companies.

Nicola Haratonian joined Triasima in 2014 as a financial analyst, and was promoted to associate portfolio manager in 2017, and as portfolio manager in 2020. Nicola holds a bachelor’s degree in Management from HEC Montréal and is a CFA® charterholder.

Nicola has 15 years of financial industry experience. Prior to joining Triasima, he assumed similar functions covering Canadian equities at Optimum Asset Management from 2007 to 2014.

At Triasima, Nicola is primarily involved in the fundamental analysis of global equities. He also participates in the management of various Triasima’s investment strategies and in the management and monitoring of client portfolios.

Simon Turner joined Triasima as a financial analyst in 2017 and was promoted to associate portfolio manager in 2022.

Simon holds a graduate diploma in Finance from HEC Montréal, a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Université du Québec in Trois-Rivières and is a CFA® charterholder.

Simon’s career began in 2013 at National Bank of Canada where he became a senior analyst, Middle Office, covering equity derivatives.

At Triasima, Simon is primarily engaged in the fundamental analysis of securities. He also participates in the management of various Triasima equity strategies and in the management and monitoring of client portfolios.

Salma Ktat joined Triasima as an analyst, Responsible Investment, in 2020, and was promoted to senior specialist, Responsible Investment, in 2023.

Salma holds a Ph.D. in Management Sciences from the University of the French West Indies co-directed by the Université du Québec à Montréal (2017), as well as a master’s degree in finance (2010) and a bachelor’s degree in finance (2007) from the University of Sfax in Tunisia. She wrote her doctoral thesis on the impact of ESG criteria on the financial performance of companies in controversial industry sectors.

Salma began her career in 2018 as an environmental specialist for Groupe Investissement Responsable Inc. Prior to that, during her doctoral studies, she worked as a research assistant at the Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development Research Chair of the Université du Québec à Montréal.

At Triasima, Salma advises the members of the firm on responsible investment issues. She also monitors environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors and collaborates with the Portfolio Management team to continuously improve the integration of these factors into Triasima's investment process.
